Timber Cutting Boards
My range of timber cutting boards are made from sawmill off cuts and and other rescued, recycled or discarded timber. Sometimes new timbers if it has been sustainably sourced.
Boards range from small cheese boards, standard size cutting boards right through to extra large bench style boards. Styles vary from single one piece boards that can be in a free form shape or a more traditional rectangular or square shape. I also make laminated boards and end grain boards.
My single piece cutting boards are made from various timbers including camphor laurel, mango, iron bark, pine, silky oak, redgum and many others. Timbers are sourced from sawmill offcuts, backyard trees that were going to be wood chipped by tree loppers and other unwanted slabs of timber from the public.
My laminated cutting boards are usually made from offcuts or from rescued timbers sourced from old furniture, wall studs, various rescued building materials or bits of wood picked up from the side of the road or peoples back yard.
